About this trip

This journey through Scotland is shaped by land, memory, and the ways a place leaves its mark. The rugged glens of the Highlands are less a destination than a state of attention. In Glencoe, the land feels wounded and alive. You walk with a folklorist, tracing stories of clan life, loss, and resilience. Travel off-road into remote Highland terrain. Stand at ruined castles where stone and silence hold centuries of memory. Explore the painterly villages of the Fife coast where you’ll move slowly through landscapes where history is still felt underfoot. Venture to a protected island sanctuary to witness puffins and seabirds in their natural habitat. Along the way, you’ll linger in small villages, share meals in historic inns, and end your days gathered around tables, fires, and song. The journey concludes in Edinburgh, with time to wander, reflect, and celebrate all that has unfolded.

This is not a checklist tour. It is an invitation.. to slow down, to listen, and to experience Scotland as a place that remembers you.

There is fire. There is music. There is sea against stone.

This is not a tour.
It is a way of moving through landscape.
It is a study in how place becomes feeling.
And how, in the presence of land that remembers, you begin to remember too.
